Kaia Network Reset Guide

MetaMask users may occasionally experience issues where transactions on the Kaia Network fail to approve. After reviewing multiple customer support inquiries, we found that the majority of these cases were caused by old RPC settings pointing to the former Klaytn network.
Below is a step-by-step guide on how to reset the Kaia Network in MetaMask.
1. Remove the old Klaytn Network
If your MetaMask wallet still has the old Klaytn Cypress network added, an RPC reset is required. We’ll start by deleting the outdated Klaytn network from your wallet.

Open MetaMask and go to Menu → Networks.
Select Klaytn → More Options → Delete.
Once completed, the old Klaytn network will be removed from your MetaMask wallet.
2. Add the Kaia Network to MetaMask
There are two ways to add the Kaia Network to MetaMask:
Option 1: Add it automatically via Spoon Finance
Option 2: Add it manually in MetaMask
This guide will walk through both ways step by step.
Option 1. Automatic Connection via Spoon Finance
🔗 Official Spoon Finance page: https://spoon.finance/earn

Visit the official Spoon Finance page.
Click the Connect button on the top right → Connect next to MetaMask.
A MetaMask pop-up will automatically appear and prompt you to add the Kaia Network. Approve the request to complete the setup.
Option 2. Manually Add the Kaia Network in MetaMask

Open MetaMask and go to Menu → Networks.
Click + Add a custom network at the bottom.
Enter the following network settings:
① Network Name: Kaia Mainnet ② RPC URL: https://public-en.node.kaia.io ③ Chain ID: 8217 ④ Currency Symbol: KAIA ⑤ Block Explorer URL: https://kaiascan.io
You should now see Kaia Network added in the network selector at the top-left of MetaMask.
